The Plot, what happens?

Based on the acclaimed DC Comics graphic novel, take a journey into the dark psyche of the Clown Prince of Crime. Now escaped from Arkham Asylum, The Joker sets out to prove that one bad day can make anyone just as insane as he is. Witness the birth of a super villain, the fortitude of a hero and the punch-line that will leave you speechless!

 

Did you find the plot interesting?

Yes, based on the graphic novel, by the same name. They did show a 30 minute story with Barbara Gordon, as Bat girl. I found this a boring introduction to the main story, because we had to wait for the Killing Joke story to actually begin 30 minutes in.

 

Did you like the film?

Yes I thought it was pretty good. I have not read the source material but I could tell by watching the film that this is following from an old time classic graphic novel.

 

What was your favourite bit & why?

Well. The final fight with Batman & Joker is my favourite bit as it’s a well animated and choreographed and voice acted scene which was thrilling. Also of interest was when we saw flashbacks of the Joker’s origin, before he becomes the Joker in an accident.

 

What are the Main Characters and Why?

Batman, The Joker & Commissioner Gordon.

 

Would you recommend this film to a friend?

Kind off if you’re a Batman fan and if you’ve read the Killing Joke you will enjoy his adaptation.

By the way no Bat nipples in this one.
