The Dacon Trust
is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status, and was formed
in 1970 with the object of providing education and training for children
with learning disabilities. In 2003 it evolved into the LeveLBest Work
Skills Training Social Enterprise for adults comprising three sustainable
business projects.

The mission of the Dacon Trust's LeveL Best Social Enterprise is to
provide quality work and life skills training for its trainees. Through
a variety of programmes and services,
LeveLBest will provide realistic
pre-vocational and work training opportunities for adults with learning
disabilities to promote the development of meaningful and purposeful
citizenship skills and sustainable social inclusion.
Philosophy
In fulfilling this mission, we affirm our intention to:

realise their goals
• provide a high level of access to a trainee body which reflects the cultural
and socio-economic diversity of our community
• provide trainees with opportunities for the development of values, ethical

politeness and free and open exchange of ideas
