Dean Smith Level Best Coffee Morning interview

An interview with Dean Smith (trainee) about Level Best Coffee Morning - Friday 29th August, by Gill Marshall.

Hi Dean!! Can you tell me why we had a coffee morning??

Yes Gill. Our trainees had their own art show and so we wanted to invite all our families, friends, carers and trustees to see all the work we do at the Artcafe?

what did you have there?

We had all art work on the walls, we had homemade sweets for sale, homemade chutneys and jams, cakes and scones.

Anything else?

I organized a raffle and for prizes we gave vouchers for meals at the artcafe and presentation packs containing our own produce.

What else was special about the day?

Angela made special table mats, I designed the menus, Tony did a pirate cake stand with pirate cakes and Saffron made table decorations.

Was it good?

It was really fun, the café and everywhere was full of visitors and we had loads of cake to eat!!
