Easter roundup
A recap of our mega Easter display and works in progress.
Easter Columns
For this job Dean and Colin created a templatre of Easter motifs and bits using Photoshop, to make sure it would fit the space (the cafe's front columns).
We printed the template onto 7 pieces of A4 paper, masking taped them together and then to the wall. We then sellotaped a piece of acetate over the composition and Dean meticulously painted over the motifs with acrylic paint.
Sam created the other columns design using the same technique pioneered by Dean.

Mobile Eggs
To make our mobile egg display for the windows, trainees printed and painted eggs with different patterns and different sizes. These were then stuck back to back and laminated and using golden thread, they were hugn from our cafe windows and our main display area the 'staircase to nowhere'
Faberge Eggs
Our 'Faberge eggs' were made under Shona's direction and are a lovely mix of paint, pins, beads and ribbon, to make a multicoloured, multi layered gift egg!
Chicks With Eggs
Our chicks with cadbury's cream eggs were a big success, all flew the coop!
"Who will give me a home?"
We sold all our Easter goods and will be looking to the changing seasons for our next big display bonanza,
Rhubarb & Ginger Jam anyone? (Coming soon).....
